Job Title : Audit & Assurance Manager or Senior Manager, CPA

Location : HYBRID for Frisco TX and Tulsa OK areas

Salary : $90k-$135k + bonus and benefits

Position Overview

We are a professional services accounting firm with offices north of Dallas and in Tulsa OK. We are committed to providing the best financial services to our clients and due to growth, we are eager to add Audit & Assurance Managers or Senior Managers to our team of public accounting professionals. The Audit & Assurance Manager is responsible for leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and providing high-quality assurance services to clients. This role involves managing a team of auditors, developing client relationships, and delivering exceptional service while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop audit strategies to address identified risks.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct quality reviews of audit workpapers and reports to ensure adherence to the firm's quality management standards.
  • Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of services and adherence to budgets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required (in any state).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit (internal or external) and assurance services, preferably in public accounting.
  • Knowledge of auditing standards and practices, including internal and external audit procedures.
  • Experience with financial statement compilations and reviews.
  • Proficient in using Excel and audit software such as DataSnipper and Strongbox is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability in client relations and customer service, with a focus on engagement and satisfaction.
  • Experience in quality management and assurance processes is a plus.
  • Understanding of AICPA Audit standards and ability to recommend changes to our quality management system.
