A Brief Overview

Coordinates entry and analysis of benchmark information for Avera Health and for facilitating development of a database of information to maintain consistency throughout the organization.

What you will do

• Assists with the management of data from the Clinical Advisor on Line System for the Avera staff including advising on data gathering techniques and methods to decrease errors in data.
• Works with the Director to develop a system that will provide access to a consistent database of information throughout the system.
• Develop formats verification procedures and coding systems for computer entry and the benchmarking program.
• Uses standardized or specialized statistical packages to analyze research data statistically and provide input to the research analyses and findings under the direction of the Director.
• Serves as point of contact as assigned for development of benchmark reports analysis and research.
• Organizes executes and presents special projects as assigned by Avera staff.
• As assigned attends meetings and takes minutes as requested. May also prepare agendas and related materials for upcoming meetings as requested (related to benchmarking and other quality initiatives).
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining official documents and records in appropriate files.
• Responds to inquiries in a courteous manner provides accurate information within scope of knowledge or refers to other staff members as appropriate.
