DIRECT HIRE

We are seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join our team! You will be working on the business development team, reaching out to new and existing customers to help grow accounts, resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts through daily inbound lead follow-up and 30+ outbound calls.
• Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
• Handle telephone inquiries related to RFQs, purchase orders, technical questions and meeting requests.
• Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
• Analyze and determine opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling potential.
• Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory.
• Perform effective online demos to prospects.
• Follow up on FSE visits, customer samples, and drop-ship orders.
• Respond to customer questions with precision to establish credibility; handle complex situations with tact and a high degree of professionalism.
• Assist the Sales Team, as required, to meet company goals and objectives.
• Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Work well within a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
