Job Title : National Segment Manager - Solids

Reports To : VP of Sales – North Region

SUMMARY :

The National Segment Manager – Solids is responsible for driving strategic growth within the solid tire segment, including leading sales initiatives, building customer relationships, analyzing market trends, and achieving sales targets. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to manage inventory, pricing, and territory-level sales programs while ensuring the success of the solid tire business across the U.S.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve national sales targets for the solid tire segment.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and VP of Sales on pricing decisions based on EBITDA and sales forecasts.
  • Travel nationally with and without territory managers to support account development and relationship management.
  • Work closely with demand planning to forecast inventory for all U.S. warehouses.
  • Ensure product availability and alignment with sales cycle objectives.
  • Maintain a database of competitor pricing, applications, and products.
  • Evaluate product usage and application trends to identify areas for future growth.
  • Train internal sales staff on solid tire products, features, and segment positioning.
  • Lead both virtual and in-person training sessions across subcategories.
  • Execute strategic sales plans within the solid tire segment and collaborate on program development aligned with profitability standards.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, ideally within the industrial or tire industry.
  • Deep knowledge of solid tire subsegments, applications, and distribution models.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • MISCELLANEOUS :

  • Frequent travel as required – up to 70%
  • Strong understanding of EBITDA and pricing strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop territory-level and national plans.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and coaching territory sales managers.
  • Ability to manage relationships at both dealer and end-user levels.
