JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Oracle / SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team, focusing on supporting and upgrading database management software. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle and SQL Server database technologies and experience in high-availability solutions, automation tools, and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities :

Provide technical support for Oracle and SQL Server databases, including upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Manage Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and SQL Server failover clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
Implement and maintain Oracle Advanced Security Options (TDE, Key Vault).
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible playbooks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database systems with project requirements.
Use Git, Jira, and Bamboo for version control, issue tracking, and continuous integration tasks.
Monitor database performance and resolve issues to maintain system integrity.
Provide input on improving database processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to : job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
