L2 Production Support (release / change management)

Genesis10 is currently seeking an L2 Production Support Specialist (release / change management) with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Requirements :

• 3 - 5+ years of IT experience in Production Support Services
• 3+ years in Production Support, Production Monitoring, and / or related technical environment
• 2+ years working in a Linux environment
• 2+ years analyzing log data in Splunk
• 3+ years performing root cause analyze of complex technical issues
• 2+ years of application development using Java and RESTful services
• Able to work independently and drive production triages along with resolution of complex issues
• Strong technical and analytical skills required to determine root cause of technical issues
• Able to think broadly about technical issues and correlate current conditions, historical trends and issues, and general incident triage techniques to pinpoint technical issues
• Experience writing SQL to query data
• Previous experience with an application performance monitoring tool (Dynatrace and Splunk)
• Able to run and execute Linux utility scripts written in bash, PowerShell, etc.
• Have previous experience analyzing root cause for complex technical incidents

Desired skills :

Pay range : $55.06 - $63.06
