🔹 Position Highlights

Specialty : Interventional Radiology

Start Date : As Soon as credentialed

Shift Type : Day shifts, Monday–Friday

Shift Hours : 7 : 00 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m.

Providers Needed : 1

Weekend Rotation : Every 3rd weekend

Call : Q3 call — every 3rd weekday and every 3rd weekend

Assignment Type : Locum Tenens

Travel : Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate; on-campus lodging available

🔹 Clinical Environment

Setting : Hospital-based IR

Team Structure : 3 Interventional Radiologists + 2 APPs

Daily Volume : ~8 IR cases / day

Trauma Level : Level I

Patient Population : Primarily adults, frequent geriatric

EMR : Not specified

🔹 Required Procedures

Angioplasty

Stent Placement

Embolization

Needle Biopsies

Thrombolysis

UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)

Additional : Ortho, Gyn, Urology-related IR cases

🔹 Credentialing & Logistics

Estimated Credentialing : 90 days (fast-track available)

Reimbursement : Mileage only; lodging available onsite

🔹 Submission Requirements

Board Certified Radiologist – Required

Active MI state medical license – Required

BLS & ACLS – Required

Local providers only (mileage reimbursement only) – Required

Clean malpractice & licensure history – Highly Preferred
