Healthcare Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU), First Floor
Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract
Start Date : December 29, 2025
End Date : March 30, 2026
Contract Duration : 13 weeks
Nursing Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend
Hours per Week : 36
Number of Openings : 4
Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,090–$2,150 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
Active Wisconsin or Compact RN license (required at submission)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be in hand at submission)
Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills
Travel nursing experience required
Epic charting system experience preferred
Ability to float to IMCU (stepdown) as needed
Two supervisor references from the past year, including one from most recent / current assignment
Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)
Latex allergies cannot be accommodated
ICU RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
Manage and monitor patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure
Perform advanced ICU procedures : arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, and CRRT
Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
Administer emergency medications and titrate cardiac / vasoactive drips
Assist with chest tube insertion / removal, fresh tracheostomy care, and post-surgical management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Float to IMCU (stepdown) unit as needed
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic (preferred)
