Be Connected Web & UX Assistant - 2025-2026 Academic Year

Make Your Mark on Bradley's Digital Experience!

Want to help shape the way your classmates, friends, and the entire Bradley community connect online? We're looking for a creative, tech-savvy student to help build and improve the Be Connected app (powered by Pathify)-our portal to everything Bradley.

Purpose of Be Connected at Bradley

The goal of Be Connected is to create a holistic, unified digital experience to support success, connection, and confidence for all Bradley communities. It gives our community easy access to information and resources available at Bradley, when they need it. Designed to be a one-stop shop, the platform connects users to systems, information, events, health and wellness, academics, res life, HR, and more with a customizable dashboard and Bradley-specific search.

What You'll Do :

  • Design and build pages, groups, and features that YOU and your classmates will actually use.
  • Influence the look, feel, and functionality of Be Connected's dashboard and user experience.
  • Make the platform easier, faster, and more fun for the entire community.
  • Test new features and share feedback that directly shapes the user experience.
  • Participate in user focus groups to improve student and employee experience.
  • Work side-by-side with university staff on big-picture ideas and improvements.

Time Commitment : minimum of 8 hours per week, including a one-hour weekly team meeting

Location : On campus at Morgan Hall

Pay Rate : $12.00 / Hourly

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript a plus).
  • A strong eye for design and user experience-you love making things clean, simple, and engaging.
  • Comfortable learning new tools (experience with content management systems is a bonus).
  • Creative problem-solver and team player who can bring fresh ideas.
  • Enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Able to work in this position for at least 2 consecutive semesters.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity regarding student and employee records

    • Thank you for your interest in employment at Bradley University. Some undergraduate students (with limited family resources as determined by the results of the FAFSA) qualify for Work Study funds to help offset costs of college.
