Physical Therapist - Weekend Shifts

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager of Therapy Services. Develops and implements individual physical therapy programs designed to improve and maximize patient mobility and independent functioning within their physical limitations / disabilities. Provides treatment on an inpatient or outpatient basis.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Current state of Illinois licensure as a physical therapist.
• A Bachelor's Degree or certificate in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved school which would provide an understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology and physics necessary to assess patient condition and develop treatment plans and goals.
• The interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients and all levels of hospital personnel.
• The analytical ability required to evaluate a patient's progress and response to treatment and to plan and adjust treatment plans.
• The ability to effectively and accurately operate all department equipment related to physical therapy treatments.
