Community Organizer

Clarendon's citizen wish to restore an unused

• chapel for a multipurpose space. The building will be used for community gatherings, cultural events, as well as local needs such as clothes and food pantry.

We are looking for a community organizer that would lead a working committee to discuss coordination efforts and serve as a liaison.

This will help the community in the following manner :

Clarendon is a rural town with only a small library. A public or civic space would create a warm, welcoming, supportive environment for people to gather, exchange ideas, enhance goodwill in disasters or hardships, provide learning, resources as well as cultural opportunities. This space will be good for children, family and seniors.
