The Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants is responsible for conducting nursing interviews, managing patients during the Capsule Endoscopy process, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This role requires a valid NYS LPN license, experience in a clinical environment, and the ability to create a safe and supportive atmosphere for patients. We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants of Albany New York

The Licensed Practical Nurse Direct Access Responsibilities are :

• Conducting nursing interviews to determine medical eligibility for screening colonoscopy / endoscopy. This process includes collecting medical and family histories from patients, reviewing preps and scheduling procedures or office visits.
• Managing the patient throughout our Capsule Endoscopy procedure process; includes obtaining and reviewing patient medical history, providing prep instructions, placement and removal of Capsule Endoscopy equipment, guidance to patient during procedure process.
• Place and remove equipment for Capsule Endoscopies
• Providing high quality patient care in an office setting is required
