Role Overview :
In your role as a Radiology Technician, you will utilize essential x-ray technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, strictly following regulatory and safety guidelines. Your responsibilities will include :
Performing all necessary diagnostic radiologic procedures.Demonstrating techniques to achieve optimal results.Using equipment correctly and effectively.Interpreting physician orders accurately for successful studies.Collaborating with radiologists and senior techs when issues arise.Preparing patients for exams and ensuring their safety throughout the procedures.Providing clear information to patients about the processes involved in their care.Qualifications :
Experience : Preferred two years as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting.Education : Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.Licensure : Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification from Texas Medical Board.Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per policy.ARRT Certification : Must be certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.About Us :
