TheSoftware Configuration Management (SWCM)department establishes and maintains integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle.

SWCM provides innovative solutions through automation continuous improvement and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products : embedded software firmware / configurable logic test equipment simulation Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and tools.

Additionally SWCM is responsible for administration and user access for Change and Configuration Management toolsets (i.e. Atlassian Jira Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS) Git etc.)

SWCM department is hiring a Principal Software Configuration Management Engineer to work onsite in Tucson AZ.

What You Will Do :

• Perform software builds and releases
• Facilitate Digital Product / Software Configuration Control Boards
• Maintain and administer of Software Digital Library tools
• Follow RTX Policies and Directives in accordance with established program documentation and work instructions under close direction of SWCM Team Lead and / or Section Leader
• Design plan enforce and coordinate CM and tool processes and procedures
• Configuration Planning & Identification Change Management & Version Control
• Status Accounting &Configuration Audits
• Manage digital product development / media libraries
• Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management build and versioning
• SWCM Tool administration / manage all access to tool applications (i.e. Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS) Git BitBucket JIRA Confluence
• Administer / manage / use DevSecOps tools like Coverity Artifactory Jenkins Nexus GitLab CI / CD Bamboo
• Facilitate the Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs)
• Maintain familiarity with program schedule budget identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
• Coordination of data transfers courier support among various environments
• Lead coordination of various digital product releases and interface with functional and program leadership ensuring on-time delivery and ensuring configuration management execution in multi-environment areas

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

Clearance Information : This position requires a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
