The Project Kuiper team is looking for a Technical Program Manager with experience in ASIC / SOC development, from architecture to pre-production stages, project management, and program management. The role will interface with cross-functional engineering and program / product management teams to develop ASIC / SOCs solutions that will go into Satellites and Ground equipment / terminals. A day in the life
You must be fully competent in a variety of project management tools, SOC / IP design methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project life-cycle and exhibit demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development / tracking. In addition, the candidate needs to drive ASIC bring-up readiness (HW / SW) and ASIC bring-up plan. Lastly, the candidate should have the experience of working through the various design phases of Silicon development from architecture definition, RTL design, Verification, IP design, Physical design, silicon bring up, test, characterization, quality, reliability and post silicon management.
About the team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of ASIC technical development leadership or ASIC program management experience
2+ years experience working directly with ASIC, embedded SW, drivers, FW development, system engineering teams
2+ years experience working in Post Silicon validation (HW / SW), manufacturing, qualification, characterization
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing Silicon projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules (Phase gate process, PDP)
Experience defining KPI's / SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
