job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help control access to restricted areas. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the financial institution environment. Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements. Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to address security-related concerns as they arise. Follow all company and client protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty. A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required. Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required. At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
