Axios Professional Recruitment is actively seeking a machine builder for a client in Walker, Michigan. This position is direct hire and provides a plethora of amentities. See below for more details!
About the Role :
Are you mechanically inclined? Do you like to build things with your hands? Do you want to work with power tools all day? Are you a gear head? Do you get excited about heavy machinery? Are you a diehard diesel fan? Do you have a desire to learn and develop your skills through hands on work?
Here’s what you’d be doing day-to-day :
Responsibilities
- SHIFT : Monday-Friday 8AM to 4 : 30PM
- Work with power tools to create assembly components for Work in Process and Finished Goods inventory
- Follow blueprints & work instructions
- Assemble heavy equipment anywhere from a small walk behind unit to a large diesel-powered chassis.
- Maintain warehouse organization to avoid product error & safety mishaps
- Pull orders by identifying part numbers that are numeric & alpha-numeric
- Load incoming & outgoing product & stock warehouse
- Additional duties as assigned by General Manager or Assembly Supervisor
