This position does not have management responsibilities and will report to a designated supervisor or manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and eligibility for South Carolina licensure, or be a senior student graduating in the next 3 months.
Certifications / Registrations / Licenses Required
Must hold or be eligible for licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina. BLS certification is required. NBRC credentials must be maintained. New hires from June 2016 onwards must complete required examinations within specified timelines to ensure continued employment.
NRP and PALS certifications are required before working independently in the NICU and PICU.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Effective teamwork, exceptional communication, and proficient organizational skills are essential.
