Sales Representative – Retail Petroleum Market
Location : Colorado Springs
Compensation : $70k–$80k base + commission
We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to manage the full sales cycle for small and medium companies in the retail petroleum market. This role requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building skills to generate opportunities, deliver value propositions, and close business.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the sale of gas price signs and related services to retail petroleum operators.
Conduct needs assessments and communicate technical specifications and value propositions effectively.
Build and maintain relationships with day-to-day contacts, leadership, and C-level executives.
Manage customer expectations and maintain consistent engagement throughout projects, including post-implementation support.
Prepare contracts, pricing proposals, and sales orders according to standard templates and guidelines.
Provide or coordinate training for new and existing accounts as needed.
Monitor industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
Identify prospects, develop sales plans, and execute cold-calling and marketing campaigns.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and participate in customer events and trade shows.
Travel 50–70% to meet client needs.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably within manufacturing.
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and management skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM systems (NetSuite preferred).
