HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT :

  • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects.
  • Performs systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
  • Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware / software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis & functional allocation
  • Oversight of moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
  • Conduct system requirements reviews
  • Develop Systems architectures

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

  • Education : Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science, additional years of experience in lieu of degree can be considered.
  • Required Experience : 2+ years of related experience in Systems Engineering
  • Required Technical Skills : Red Hat, Linux and Solaris (a plus)
  • Security Clearance Level : Secret
  • Security+ CE certification / DoD compliant
  • Location : On site in LA
  • US Citizenship Required
