An established integrator of large-scale conveyor systems and industrial automation equipment is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to oversee custom build projects from cradle to grave. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with an engineering background and experience in a manufacturing or build-to-order environment.

Your Role

As Project Manager, you’ll coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring all phases of the project—from scope development through delivery—are executed efficiently and on budget.

Responsibilities Include :

Develop and maintain project schedules and key milestones

Collaborate with engineering, production, purchasing, accounting, and sales

Monitor project budgets and timelines, adjusting as necessary

Ensure designs align with scope and customer expectations

Provide regular status updates to internal teams and customers

Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned

Occasional travel (up to 15%) for site visits and customer meetings

What You Bring

Must-Haves :

BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Project management experience in a build / manufacturing environment

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Commitment to follow-through and customer satisfaction

Nice-to-Haves :

Experience managing projects involving automation or conveyor systems

Familiarity with controls, blueprints, and industrial specs / contracts

Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand equipment design
