As a Life Enrichment Assistant , you’ll play an essential role in creating meaningful experiences that bring joy, connection, and purpose to the residents we serve in Memory Care.

Responsible to assist the Life Enrichment Director in planning and leading a variety of activity programs designed to meet the resident’s social, physical, mental, emotional, and sensory needs.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for assisting with planning, promotion, and facilitating / leading each event or program.
• Assess resident’s recreational and social needs.
• Support development of monthly Activity Calendar of Events.
• Lead small, large, and one on one activity programs with seniors.
• Research and recommend to Coordinator entertainment / educational speakers / church representatives, etc.
• Support coordination of transportation needs to outside events / programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Accompany residents on field trips as assigned.
• Work cooperatively with assigned volunteers and direct their assignments to support the resident programming.
• Maintain the bus interior and exterior. Report maintenance needs in timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Schedule : Full Time Monday-Friday

Hourly : $20-$22 per hour (based on experience)

Working Hours

Typically, Monday through Friday. Weekends and evenings occasionally to meet programming needs or Special Events. The work schedule and hours may vary from week to week.
