BMS Controls Technician

Full-Time | South Bend, IN | JSET Automated Technologies

About JSET

We design, install, and support Building Management Systems that keep data centers running day after day. Our BMS team focuses on low-voltage controls, quality control, sequence of operations, and final commissioning. When you join us, you gain hands-on experience that opens doors to long-term careers inside the company.

What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and SOOs
  • Team with other technicians to hit daily goals
  • Run detailed point-to-point inspections
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, devices, and wiring
  • Support commissioning agents during final testing
  • Monitor and analyze electrical systems; recommend fixes and upgrades
  • Calibrate devices and verify sensor accuracy
  • Review engineered blueprints and suggest improvements
  • Keep safety first in every task

What Makes You a Fit

  • 18 + years old with a valid driver's license
  • Proven attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Eager to learn new tools and software
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication
  • Able to work on your own and with a crew
  • Comfortable with device configuration and basic networking
  • Solid grasp of circuitry and electrical theory

    • Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 60 lbs, move loads up to 20 ft
  • Stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for long periods
  • Work in hot, cold, noisy, or wet environments
  • Distinguish multiple wire colors without corrective lenses
