Onboarding Coordinator
Primarily remote, but will have onsite team events each quarter
As an Onboarding Coordinator, this person will provide general HR assistance to contractors throughout their onboarding experience. If someone has strong customer service skills, professionalism, thrives in a team environment, and enjoys contributing to a bigger picture, then this person will be successful in this role. This person will need to manage their time effectively, be detail oriented, a critical thinker, and a problem solver.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for creating an uncommon on-boarding experience for contractors (a great one)
- Facilitate onboarding process including communication to contractor and completion of all onboarding requirements
- Provide regular and real-time updates on onboarding status to the customer. As well as coordinating start details.
- Maintain employee files through on-boarding process
- Assist with data entry required for new start set up
- Partner with Internal HR for 401k and Benefits
- Responsible for new starts tracker and VMS tool maintenance
- Enter and manage background and drug testing process for contractors. Partner with Internal HR for any adjudication required
- I9 Employment verification
- Auditing of all new hire paperwork and documentation in VMS and internal technology
- Federal, State, and Local employment law compliance
- Visit Client on-site to complete onboarding material with applicable
- Ensure a smooth hand off of contractor relationship to Employee Relationship Specialist
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year of experience with onboarding candidates, new hire paperwork, and handling i9's.Strong customer service skills / people skillsExcel experience (beginner level - no pivot tables or formulas needed)Strong organizationMS office suiteTeam playerAbility to work remoteExperience working with these systems : Service Hub, E-Recruit, Beeline (VMS), i-9 Advantage, E-Staff is highly preferredThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
