Job Title : Applications Engineer

Location : Remote or Onsite at Salem, OR

Job Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React and modern CSS frameworks.
  • Create scalable backend services with Node.js and databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
  • Work with UX / UI designers and product managers to deliver top-notch features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Engage in code reviews and contribute to engineering practice improvements.

Skills Required :

  • 5+ years in software engineering, focusing on front-end development.
  • Proficient in React, Node.js / JavaScript, CSS, and Python.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with IaC frameworks like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Skilled in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with graph databases and querying languages.
  • Interest in retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and GenAI.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and OpenAI API-compatible UI clients.
