ProSidian Consulting is seeking a Safety and Health Manager (SHM) for Environmental Management. This role is based in the Midwest Region, supporting a federal agency within the Department of Defense. The position involves providing critical engineering services to strengthen national security, support economic growth, and mitigate disaster risks.

The Safety and Health Manager (SHM) will serve as a member of the engagement team, developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The SHM must possess the authority to shut down the site if health and safety issues arise. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the Site Health and Safety Plan.

Desired qualifications include extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, environmental health and safety practices, and certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional). The SHM should have a minimum of three years of experience in managing safety and occupational health at hazardous waste site cleanup operations.
