About The Role : As a CBRE Maintenance Assistant (Greenhouse), you will be responsible for the transport and movement of plants & pots and maintaining the professional appearance of the greenhouse and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What Youll Do :

• Maintain all the greenhouses and the common areas of the facility.
• Dusting stairs, walls, doors and windows throughout the building.
• Washing walls, windows and doors.
• Sweeping and leaf blowing the parking lot and dumpster area.
• Removing all trash from the facility and following proper waste disposal.
• Leaf blowing, pressure washing, and sanitizing greenhouses using backpack sprayers.
• Keeping the floors clean and clear of debris, water and algae.
• Loading all the trash and discarded plants into bins and taking them to the dumpster or the compactor.
• Separate pots from the discarded plants and save them to be palletized and wrapped.
• Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and process work assignments.
• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Performs general labor work as assigned including loading, unloading and moving materials.
• Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and reporting bulbs and lamps that need to be replaced.
• Maintains grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, pulling weeds, sweeping, leaf blowing and snow removal.
• Performs housekeeping functions and maintains the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.
• Patrols grounds, common areas and parking lot.
• Identifies and reports maintenance hazards and other property condition concerns.
• Performs minor repairs under supervision.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
