TempExperts is seeking a skilled  Machine Operator  for a  Direct Hire  opportunity in the  St. Petersburg  area. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced with precision measuring tools and production machinery.

Responsibilities :

Roll bulky reels onto small rumps and secure them in place.

Use calipers to set up production machinery for cutting flexible shafts.

Operate small hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings to shafts.

Inspect products using micrometers and calipers.

Record inspection results in the database.

Maintain quality control using micrometers and gauging tools.

Requirements / Education :

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or associate degree is a plus.

Mechanically inclined with experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Experience with machining processes including press, hitch feed, and weld cutter.

Ability to read blueprints with strong attention to detail.
