CT Technologist Weekend Full Time Evenings Sign on Bonus Eligible

The CT Technologist Weekend  reflects the mission vision and values of NM adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table.
• Administers contrast media oral and / or IV contrast in accordance with department policies and procedures patient history indicators exam protocols and physician orders and follows through with post exam instructions.
• Enters data such as type of scan slice thickness scan time and other technical data into computer.
• Communicates with patient before and during procedure; monitors safety comfort.
• Views images of organs or tissue on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures; produces radiographs.
• Performs CT equipment QA and maintains required logs.
• Performs clerical tasks such as receiving orders scheduling patients and recordkeeping.
• Maintains and cleans work area and equipment; replenishes supplies as needed

Qualifications : Required :

• ARRT
• IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety
• BLS through American Heart Association
• 2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent

Preferred :

• ARRT registry in CT or MRI
• 1 year experience

Sign-on Bonus Eligibility :  Internal employees and rehires who left Northwestern Medicine within 1 year are not eligible for the sign on bonus. Exception : New graduate internal employees seeking their first licensed clinical position at NM may be eligible depending upon the job family.
