Health Safety Environment Supervisor (Jackson)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive HSE Supervisor to support construction operations by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in asbestos abatement, hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling and disposal, working at heights, and Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) including mobile cranes. This role is critical to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting a culture of safety across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific HSE plans and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses for construction activities.
• Oversee and coordinate asbestos abatement projects in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Manage the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Ensure proper safety protocols are followed for working at heights, including fall protection systems and training.
• Inspect and verify safe operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles, including forklifts, aerial lifts, and mobile cranes.
• Perform regular site inspections and audits to identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; maintain accurate records and reports.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to site personnel.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable standards.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
