As a Security Guard - Industrial Access Control in Waco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to support your responsibilities, all while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in every interaction.

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the location.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of persons to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed to clients, visitors, and staff.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and daily events as required by site-specific policies.

Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols as directed by Allied Universal and / or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements :

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
