Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician / Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a strong background in various therapeutic approaches. This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering both individual and group therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy for clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.
- Deliver trauma-focused therapy and maintain thorough documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Assist clients in building community supports and resources to help them achieve their personal goals.
- Help clients expand their social support networks, including family, friends, and significant others.
- Offer emotional support and encouragement during times of crisis.
- Advocate for clients' rights, reduce stigma, and promote self-advocacy.
- Collaborate with other providers, family members, and community organizations to support client recovery and connect them to resources.
- Attend agency meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Maintain high standards of productivity and confidentiality.
Clinical Supervisor (LCSW / LCPC) Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision to therapists and staff, ensuring adherence to professional standards.Oversee staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, review treatment plans for quality assurance.Lead crisis management efforts and participate in organizational leadership.Represent the organization in community outreach and mental health advocacy.Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.Valid licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) preferred.Experience working with children, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds.Proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities (grief counseling, addiction counseling, behavioral therapy, art therapy, dance therapy).Strong understanding of crisis and behavior management strategies.Experience in outpatient settings is a plus.Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including immigrants and refugees.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.How to Apply
