Industrial Security Specialist III

RiverTech is looking for an Industrial Security Specialist III responsible for conducting daily security functions to ensure the protection of government assets in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). This is a hybrid role with in-office requirement so selected hire will reside in the DC / MD / VA area.

Responsibilities :

• Assists Federal staff to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
• Implements existing security directives, makes recommendations to resolve unique and complex security problems by coordinating with senior security specialists to include solutions and follow-up written communications.
• Conducts reviews and provide recommendations for approval of the contracting checklist required for all classified contracts.
• Tracks trend data, draft reports, and produce incident reports if violations occur.
