Mechanical Engineer

Day to day :

Our client is seeking a Senior and Staff level Mechanical Engineer to support the development of a cutting-edge electron beam inspection tool used in advanced 300mm semiconductor fabs. This role is approximately 40% focused on production tooling and low-volume, high-complexity mechanical design, and 60% dedicated to hands-on lab testing and validation. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player with strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment alongside industry experts.

Must Haves :

• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in the semiconductor industry
• Experience designing electro-mechanical modules from concept to production
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for module and component design
• Familiarity with cleanroom or fab environments where contamination control is critical
• Experience checking parts in / out of vault systems
• Ability to create BOMs and documentation using Arena or similar tools
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues
