Responsibilities :

This role involves a wide range of clinical responsibilities including clinic services, deliveries, lab work, X-ray, suturing, ultrasound, cesarean sections, pharmacy services, EKG, gynecology, emergency room coverage, minor and major surgeries, local block / IV, and epidural or general anesthesia procedures.

Specialty Services :

The facility offers on-site and referred services across various specialties including behavioral health, dental, pediatrics, emergency, rheumatology, OBGYN, dermatology, psychiatry, endocrinology, podiatry, urology, and others. Referrals are typically sent to Fort Defiance, Chinle, Gallup, Albuquerque, Phoenix, or Flagstaff.

This hospital serves the Navajo Nation and surrounding community. It acts as the sole provider of care for the Navajo Nation chapters and communities south of Route 26 (Cornfields, Steamboat, etc.).
