About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Community Manager to build, grow, and nurture online communities around Visional Pop's character IP brands. This role will serve as the voice of our characters and the bridge between our beloved brands and their global fanbase, fostering authentic connections and driving engagement across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Community Building & Engagement
- Build and grow vibrant online communities across social media platforms, forums, and digital channels
- Foster a positive and inclusive community environment that encourages active participation and interaction
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies aligned with Visional Pop's character brand objectives
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key community members, influencers, and brand advocates
Content Curation
Curate, and manage engaging content including posts, videos, stories, and interactive media for character brandsDevelop content calendars that align with character storylines, product launches, and seasonal campaignsWrite compelling copy that captures each character's unique voice and personalityCollaborate with creative partners to ensure content consistency across all brand touchpointsSocial Media Management
Manage daily operations of social media accounts across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Discord)Monitor community platforms for discussions, trends, and fan-generated contentRespond to comments, questions, and feedback in a timely and authentic mannerModerate discussions and enforce community guidelines to maintain a safe environmentAnalytics & Reporting
Track and analyze community engagement metrics including growth, activity levels, and sentimentMonitor brand presence and conduct sentiment analysis of fan feedbackProvide data-driven insights and recommendations to marketing and product teamsGenerate regular reports on community performance and campaign effectivenessEvent & Campaign Management
Organize and host virtual events, live streams, Q&As, and community meetupsPlan and execute social media campaigns around character launches and partnershipsCoordinate fan contests, challenges, and user-generated content initiativesAttend industry events and conventions to represent Visional Pop's character brandsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field3+ years of experience in social media management or community engagementProven track record of growing and managing online communities, preferably in entertainment or character-based brandsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt voice for different charactersProficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation softwareStrong understanding of pop culture trends, anime, gaming, and character fandomsPreferred Qualifications
Experience in entertainment, gaming, anime, or character IP industriesKnowledge of Discord or fun related community managementExperience with influencer partnerships and creator collaborationsEssential Skills
