We proudly serve customers in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, West Virginia, Ohio, Wyoming, and Montana.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual who is experienced in working with industrial customers on technical and problem-solving applications. Fluid systems knowledge and process experience with pumps, specifically Centrifugal Pumps, Rotary Gear Pumps, PC Pumps, Positive Displacement Pumps, and Chemical Pump knowledge is a requirement for this position.
Essential Functions
- Identify and understand current needs for existing and potential customers and translate into sales opportunities.
- The initiation, promotion, and maintenance of the sale of products and services represented and / or distributed by Master Pumps & Power with customers in assigned territory.
- The coordination of all sales / account management activities at assigned accounts, including field sales contacts, identification of sales potential, applications targeting, technical product solutions, proposal generation and / or proposal coordination and follow-up.
- Development and Maintenance of a thorough working knowledge of products represented and / or distributed by Master Pumps & Power, their applications, features, benefits, and sales presentation.
Experience, Education and Skills
HS Diploma or GEDBachelor's Degree in related discipline is preferred2+ Industrial Sales Experience, preferably with Centrifugal pumps, Rotary Gear Pumps, PC pumps, and Chemical Pumps.Good working knowledge of process and system hydraulicsProven track record of driving sales growthExceptional Customer Service and Follow-Up skillsAbility to establish customer rapport, build business relationships, and CLOSE salesExcellent prospecting / Sales Skills and TechniquesMust be an Energetic, assertive Self-Starter with a Positive Attitude who is eager to gain valuable sales and marketing experience in an exciting atmosphereCandidate must live in the geographic region or surrounding area.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of CRM and related technologies.Valid driver's licenseSome overnight travel may be requiredWe Offer
