Physician - Hematology Oncology Anderson

AnMed is seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist / Oncologist for their Cancer Center in Anderson, SC. Located along South Carolina's National Heritage Corridor, the greater Anderson area is a fast-growing and diverse county of about 185,000 residents.

Job Description :

Candidates can be BE or BC, but BC is HIGHLY PREFERRED based on the complexity of the practice and the first physician will onsite alone a majority of the time.

Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, (very few) hospital rounds

Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) + On call

Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends)

Practice is in a phase of rebuilding

Desired start date : ASAP

Approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year

Average Number of Patients Per Day : 15-25
