job_description.job_card.job_descriptionReview and finalize personal injury settlements, including verification of settlement breakdowns. Prepare and issue payments to clients, vendors, and medical providers. Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions. Assist with other accounting or administrative tasks as needed. Work closely with attorneys and legal teams to ensure settlement accounting is completed accurately and timely. Process accounts payable and receivable. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Perform data entry, scanning, filing, and updating data using spreadsheets and accounting software. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role within a law firm or legal setting is preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks required. Experience with personal injury settlements and related disbursements preferred. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Paid Time Off (PTO). 401(k) retirement plan.
