A highly respected and growing signage company in San Antonio is looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist with initiative and drive to join their team. Qualified candidates must have 3+ years experience in a construction, manufacturing or signage companies accounting / accounts payable department.  As a leader in the signage industry we are looking to hire quality people and provide them with outstanding opportunities for professional growth in a supportive team-oriented environment. We are well established and are looking to dramatically grow over the next 2+ years.

Sign Company Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities :

• Process AP invoices & payments & import PO approvals into AP
• Prepare weekly AP selections for CFO review & process weekly check runs, including ACH payments
• Ensure checks and lien waivers are matched to invoices & maintain in AP vendor files
• Reconcile Vendor Statements
• Set up new vendors obtaining proper documentation
• Maintain confidential banking info for vendors requesting ACH payments
• Maintain subcontractor insurance in IHMS and certificate binders and save files on the network
• Set up and cancel utilities for homes under construction
• Complete vendor credit references / applications
• Process 1099 annually
• Assist accounting department with special projects as needed
