A Day in the Life

Responsible for developing and maintaining product / systems to support manufacturing and business needs. Initiates improvements in product / systems and automate processes to improve products safety quality schedule performance and to reduce manufacturing and operating costs by applying standard work mentoring others and establishing best practices.

Creating and implementing automated systems and processes using various technologies including robotics software and hardware.

Responsible for improving efficiency and productivity using technology and software.

Develops and executes automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure software quality and system reliability.

Identifying and resolving issues with automated systems performing maintenance and ensuring optimal performance.

Completes programming and implements efficiencies performs testing and debugging.

Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

Works with large scale computing frameworks data analysis systems and modeling environments.

Ensuring that automated systems adhere to safety standards and regulations minimizing risks and potential hazards.

Provides actionable insights and solutions to business challenges.

Collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to apply product / systems to the manufacturing area of the business

Travel up to 25%

Must Haves

Bachelors Degree and 7 years of Engineering experience with Automation or advanced degree and 5 years of experience

Nice to Have

800xA experience

Project Management skills

Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Lean Six Sigma

Lean accounting experience

CNC machining experience

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $122400.00 - $183600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
