About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the professionalization and growth of its portfolio business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning, as well as implementing an ERP system and enhancing financial controls. This role demands a CFO with a proven track record in M&A execution and integration, particularly in the construction or commercial services industries. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO, driving performance and operational strategy, and will also oversee finance, risk management, IT, and office administration functions.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in Private Equity-backed businesses, with a strong background in financial and strategic acumen, including cost accounting and risk management. The role requires a leader with servant leadership and strong team-building skills, who is highly conscientious, self-motivated, and takes ownership of their work. The ideal candidate will be a structured, proactive, and strategic thinker, comfortable working across blue- and white-collar environments, and capable of managing the cultural shifts and people change management that come with a transition to a professionalized, Private Equity-backed environment. The CFO will be instrumental in driving the business to scale and exit readiness, with a focus on integrating multiple acquisitions and expanding geographically.
