DESCRIPTION

Bridge Inspector will oversee the planning, inspection and safety evaluations of state and locally owned bridges and review inspection reports. You will work with others in planning and executing the safety and fracture-critical inspections of state and locally owned bridges in addition to preparing inspection reports..

As a client representative, you will be expected to :

• Perform bridge and / or tunnel inspections, reports, and supporting documents.
• Monitor work on inspection projects including quality, schedule, costs, and safety for compliance with the contract requirements and document all findings, observations, and issues.
• Verify bridge reports and supporting documents meet quality assurance requirements.
• Maintain effective communications and coordination between the bridge inspection teams, supervisors, and clients.
• Utilize inspection tools including tablets, ladders, man-lifts, inspection tools, sUAS, and client documentation software.
• Assist Bridge Inspection Group Manager with PM tasks, attendance at client meetings.
• Oversee and coordinate traffic control, schedule man-lifts and under-bridge cranes for inspections.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $44,000-$76,000. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
