General Cardiologist for a Thriving Practice | KU St. Francis in Topeka

The University of Kansas Health System is expanding and seeking two Cardiologists to join the dynamic team at our St. Francis Heart & Vascular Center in beautiful Topeka, Kansas.  This is an incredible opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing practice while enjoying the resources of a renowned academic health system.

About this Cardiologist Position :

• Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE)
• Inpatient / Outpatient Mix
• Single-Specialty Group of 9 Cardiologists, 8 APC, and support staff (RN, LPN, CAN, MA, secretarial and front office)
• Practice Growth : adding 2 new cardiologist positions to the team
• Clinical practice plus dedicated admin time, no research nor teaching required;
• Procedure Rooms and Testing Available On-Site : Nuclear Stress, Echo, Vascular Sonography, Coumadin Clinic, Cardiac Rehab, Vein Clinic
• Referrals from Primary Care and Multiple Specialists
• Schedule : varies, some weekend requirement.
• Daily Patient Load : Clinical 2-3 patients per hour; Inpatient varies
• Call : 1 : 6 day rotation (5 per month), telephone only and with excess call pay
• EMR : Epic
• Able to support J1 Visa candidates
