NOBU, the world-renowned Japanese Restaurants, is hiring for its Houston location. We are seeking highly motivated and energetic professionals to join us.
Applicants must have 2+ years experience working in a high volume and upscale establishment. Candidates must be punctual, communicate effectively, and maintain composure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Our philosophy is to provide exceptional cuisine, hospitality and grow together!
Job Duties :
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of recipes, ingredients, allergens, and food presentation.
- Ensure that food quality, quantity, freshness, and presentations meet Nobu standards.
- Prepare and produce all dishes while following approved recipes & specifications in an accurate and timely manner.
- Train and learn different working stations as per directed by your Manager.
- Weigh and measure ingredients; properly use recipes in order to produce dishes up to Nobu standards.
- Maintain department cleanliness and organization, adhere to safe work and equipment practices, and follow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Set up, stock stations, and replenish kitchen inventory and supplies as needed.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines including being ready to work at scheduled shift time, in uniform, and as per uniform standards.
- Perform and c omplete any other duties and responsibilities given by your Manager .
Requirements :
Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Dinner shifts are from 2 : 30 pm to 10 : 00 pm, Monday through Sunday, as well as Sunday brunch from 11 : 15 am to 3 : 00 pm.Must be able to walk up and down stairs, bend / kneel, and push / pull / lift up to 50 pounds.Benefits :
