DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This is a professional Caseworker 2 position in the combined Information & Referral and Crisis Intervention Unit. The Crisis Intervention Unit is licensed for telephone, walk-in, and mobile services through OMHSAS. Duties and responsibilities of the Crisis Counselor / Information & Referral Caseworker include obtaining information from clients and family members, prioritizing the need for various services, recognizing signs and symptoms of mental illness, and working cooperatively with all agencies to ensure prompt and effective treatment. Professional responsibilities include the pursuit of continued training opportunities to keep updated as new treatment trends occur. You must be proficient in the timely completion of all required forms and computer software required to perform job duties.
