Job Title : IT System Administrator
Location : West Palm Beach, FL (Onsite)
Salary : $75,000-$100,000

Overview of the IT System Administrator :
A growing organization is seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to support and enhance a complex, enterprise-scale IT environment. This role offers exposure to sophisticated systems, ongoing modernization initiatives, and opportunities to contribute to a rapidly expanding infrastructure team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, reliable execution, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities of the IT System Administrator :
- Maintain system uptime and reliability through log analysis, proactive monitoring, and preventative maintenance.
- Deploy, configure, and support servers, hardware components, and related infrastructure.
- Handle operating system updates, patches, and upgrades, including Windows Server migrations.
- Oversee and optimize a virtualized environment leveraging VMware.
- Participate in strategic projects such as Office 365 tenant transitions and server OS upgrades.
- Assist with configuration adjustments, lifecycle management, and continuous environment improvements.
- Contribute to endpoint security initiatives using modern security solutions.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Provide day-to-day support for Office 365 applications (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Entra ID, Defender, Purview).
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve service desk requests promptly and professionally.
- Implement and monitor security measures including firewalls and threat detection tools.
- Conduct routine audits and support risk reduction strategies.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Test recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Keep thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes.
Required Qualifications of the IT System Administrator :
Strong background in VMware and virtualization technologies.Solid proficiency with Windows Server, including server deployment and security hardening.Practical experience with Office 365 administration at an intermediate level.Clear understanding of IT security principles and best practices.Foundational networking knowledge.Exposure to cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.Experience with endpoint protection tools (e.g., CrowdStrike or comparable solutions).Industry certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, Server+, or Azure Administrator are advantageous.#LI-NB1 #ZRCFSTECH #INDEC2025
