Summary :

Rails is looking to hire an HR Coordinator. In collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing crucial tasks and responsibilities. Your primary objective will be to navigate Rails employees through essential human resources procedures while addressing inquiries related to our policies. You will be a strong asset as our company continues to scale and add new employees across our retail and corporate teams, both domestically and internationally.

The HR Coordinator reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Responsibilities :

  • Facilitate seamless employee benefits enrollment by collaborating with benefits brokers for open enrollment and renewals
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of employee timecards
  • Maintain an impeccably organized filing structure, keeping records up to date for streamlined operations
  • Contribute to the organizational culture by actively participating in events and celebrations
  • Keep organizational charts, calendars, and other vital documents current and up to date
  • Stay current with HR trends and best practices to continually enhance our HR processes
  • Maintain sufficient cross-training to provide backup support for payroll
  • Participate in candidate interviews
  • Undertake any additional tasks as assigned

Requirements :

  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • Preferably an understanding of both domestic and international HR policies
  • Familiarity with payroll processing tools (Paycom, Excel, etc.)
  • At least 1 – 2 years of prior hands-on HR experience
  • Ability to accommodate an onsite presence in our office at least 4 days a week
  • Education or certification in Human Resources or an equivalent degree preferred
