The 2nd Purser Admin organizes the ship's clearance in every port of call by preparing the necessary paperwork for both guests and crew members, in a timely manner. You are required to ensure that all custom and immigration requirements are met.
It is your responsibility to ensure the ship is cleared without delays or penalties. You must ensure that guests and crew can proceed ashore with no challenges, thus contributing to guest satisfaction and repeat business, which in turn, will increase revenue and profitability of the company.

Your responsibilities
Prepare and plan in advance, to ensure efficient vessel clearance for guests and crew upon arrival into and departure out of ports; manage all clearance related matters and maintain communication with port agents.Ensure that visitor lists are accurate and up-to-date, and port authorities are informed accordingly.Facilitate the prompt processing of legal documents (guest manifest; crew list) with port authorities by preparing all paperwork, as required; maintain guest and crew manifests for onboard safety regulations and international requirements (i.e. Shore Passes etc.).Responsible for guest passports, Immigration Inspections and ensuring that all guests meet the visa requirements for each port-of-call.Maintain a good relationship with Port Agents & local authorities at the respective ports-of-call to ensure cooperation with all officials whilst onboard.Assist with check-in procedures, on embarkation day.In conjunction with the Guest Services Manager, Hotel Purser, Medical Team and Human Resource (HR) Manager, assist with guest and crew medical disembarkations.etc.Your profile
A required minimum of 2 years' experience in the Pursers Department onboard a ship.Minimum 21 years old.Must have in-depth knowledge of clearance and visa requirements in international waters, for both guests and crew members.Fluent in English - must be able to attend any kind of query in an adequate manner with excellent oral and written English communication skills the ability to speak an additional language is an advantage.Must have experience in leading multi-cultural teams; flexible, stress resistant, committed team player.Strong accounting and administration skills are preferred and must be proficient with PC based databases, spread sheets, and word processing systems.Proficient with PC based databases, spread sheets, and word processing systems is required; must demonstrate the ability to work independently.Guest-focused, service-oriented, positive personality, professional appearance and impeccable hygiene standards are required.Must confidentially handle all communications, including written, email, and phone.No visible tattooNote : Nationalities that we can process :
