We are partnered with a leading full-service mechanical contractor specializing in designing, installing, and optimizing building automation and mechanical systems. We are looking for a Controls Engineer to develop, implement, and commission Building Automation Systems for commercial projects.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Read, analyze, and interpret plans, submittals, mechanical specifications, contract documents, and control drawings.
  • Perform hardware and software engineering, as well as network-level commissioning for Client projects.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective control strategies while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Sales to support the technical aspects of project development and scoping.
  • Work with Mechanical Engineering to integrate controls with mechanical design and construction documents.
  • Develop sequence of operations and procedure manuals.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, management, and field operations teams.
  • Partner with Field Operations and Energy Teams to incorporate efficiency strategies into control designs.
  • What You Bring :

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation & Controls, or a related field (Mechanical or Electrical preferred), OR equivalent technical training.
  • 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, or similar design tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems installation and operation.
  • Experience in commercial building construction, renovation, or retrofit projects.
